Download the MySAPS App (Official)
MySAPS is the South African Police Service's official mobile app. It lets you report incidents, request SAPS services, and find police station details from your phone — free, on both Android and iPhone. The links below go straight to the official store listings. We never link to unofficial copies.

What the app does
MySAPS puts everyday SAPS services in your pocket: reporting incidents, requesting services, and looking up station contact details. It's the official app, it's free, and it's the safest way to interact with SAPS from your phone — no middlemen, no "agents", no fees.
One important note about job applications
You cannot apply for SAPS jobs through the MySAPS app. Job applications are web-only and run exclusively through the e-recruitment portal at erecruitment.saps.gov.za. If anyone tells you to download an app to "apply for SAPS posts", that's a red flag. For the current 2026/27 intake (5,500 police trainees, ref TRA26/27, closing 13 November 2026), use our e-recruitment walkthrough to register and apply properly.
Staying safe
Only download MySAPS from the official store links above. Fake "SAPS app" copies occasionally appear on third-party sites — they can steal your details. Check the developer name on the listing matches the official publisher before installing, and never pay for the app. It's free.
